about

Another Year, Another FOur Twenty, Another Couchweed Album?? But the Couchweed's 8th album, Who's Got the Eighth?, almost didn't make it to your ears this 4/20. In a recent interview lead singer Tedward revealed that the sessions for their new album were marred with "technical problems" and "i'm to high". "Yeah we recorded about 4 albums worth of material for Who's Got the Eighth," said Nugg Drummer, "but Tedward's computer has this weird issue where when you, like, if, like when you plug into the studio mixer all the songs go away. in garadgeband." This left the band with 10 songs and not even 30 minutes of material. But the band is confident that this was a blessing in disguise. There's a song about Denton superstar Jason Lee that the band promises was extremely relevant when it was recorded. Guitarist Bong Wyzyrd, who is unsure if any of his contributions even made the album, wanted us to quote him for the About This Album section on the bandcamp but he couldn't think of anything fun to say, so we'll jam some words in his mouth: "Kids, dont do drugs, just smoke a lot of wed" -bongwyzyrd 2017
