about

COUCHWEED's BACK. After last year's 'Resin Metal' single, the Couchweed sound has only gotten gunkier. Using the sage advice of the Master of Nugs, Couchweed took some hits to make some hits. Don't adjust your WebTV EQ settings, you're hearing it right. Tedward lays down the law on 'It's All Stems', utterly eviscerating the "moocher[s] and dirtbag[s]" who deserve "all stems in [their] next bag" while lamenting on the next track, the heavy powerballad 'The Drifter, about falling in with a bad crowd in prison (the creators of Pruno). Scorcher opening track '420 Party Palace' has Dromaster5000 weaving a tale of a too-good-to-be-true Party Palace of Weed. And then there's 'Kief Monthly', a murky, dream-like rant about Dromaster’s boss finding out he's using company funds to purchase newsletters on kief, set to an even murkier, covered-in-resin vacuum of sound. And did we mention ‘Couchweed’ the song?Listen loud and preferably with your fingers covered in an uncomfortable and unreasonable amount of resin. Up-and-comer Tristyn Resin guests on vocals.
